The cleanliness of your engine fluid is crucial to the trouble-free and cost-effective operation of your engine system. Engine components are costly and need special consideration when this fluid is selected and subsequently filtered.

The ISO 4406 Code is a recognized standard in the industry. Certain recommended cleanliness quantities are necessary to realize the most efficient performance of your system.

As soon as you start your engine, you begin the deterioration process of your oil. As the engine runs, dirt, wear metal particles, fuel, soot, and water start to weaken your oil's lubrication and protection properties. These harmful elements can be eliminated by an oil drain, but once the oil is replaced, the deterioration process just starts over again.

We have been taught that regular oil drains and filter changes are required to protect our engines and hydraulic systems. The Kleenoil Bypass Filtration System, however, allows us to extend the time between oil drains as well as reducing the adverse effects of harmful particles in the engine.

Normal spin on full-flow filters on your car or truck have approximately 90 to 130 quarts of oil passing through the filter media each minute. As a result, the fluid passes through so quickly that it cannot be finely filtered, nor can water be removed. While the film of oil between moving parts in an engine is generally about 3 microns, regular oil filters only filter down to between 15 and 40 microns.

The Kleenoil Bypass filter, however, is a bypass filter that passes only a small portion of the total oil flow through a very dense filtering media at about 2.5 quarts per minute. At this speed, it is possible to remove particles down to 1 micron and totally remove water, greatly decreasing engine wear and prolonging oil life.

One of the first things we noticed when we started using PowerUp is that our engines run cooler. Kleenoil Filtration Products for my company is a sure way of saving. Our operations are quarry crushing, gravel transportation, excavation and floating.

We first experienced two Kleenoil filters four years ago on a 966D wheel loader and a Western Star 350 big cam Cummins engine. We scheduled a Kleenoil filter change on the loader at 200 hours and manufacturer filter & oil change at 500 hours. On the tractor we scheduled the Kleenoil filter change at 20,000 kilometers and the manufacturer filter and oil change at 100,000 kilometers or once a year.

We have sent oil samples to Wear Check and Crothers and the results were very satisfactory.

The following year we purchased 30 more units & installed them on our front end shovel, euclids, stationary engines, dump and mixer trucks and balance off wheel loaders.

Sleeve pitting on a Cummin's engine was the reason why we opened an engine and inspected the crankshaft, the bearings were done at the same time and let me tell you, we are very well pleased with this product. Fuel, water, antifreeze and aluminum and copper sediments could be detected in the filter before any failure. I strongly recommend Kleenoil filter to anyone.
